The Audit Section in the Municipality of Gwanda serves as an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve the Municipality's operations. It helps the Municipality accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. It is guided by the Public Finance Management Act Chapter 22:19 and the Urban Councils Act Chapter 22:15 as well as the Constitution of Zimbabwe
