The Director is the chief custodian of the Municipality’s physical and social space. As the head of the primary agency for urban growth, the Director is responsible for the integrated management of land as a finite resource. This involves balancing statutory compliance (under the RTCP and Land Survey Acts) with social mandates (the National Human Settlements Policy). The Director ensures that the Municipality evolves into a "sustainable, equitable, and functional environment" where technical planning meets community well-

Strategic Leadership
- Leading land administration and urban growth policies.
- Ensuring statutory compliance with the RTCP and Land Survey Acts.
Land & Spatial Management
- Stewardship of the Land Information System (LIS) and GIS databases.
- Managing layout designs for residential and commercial land uses.
