Forward Planning and Traffic

The Forward Planning, Traffic and Transportation Section is responsible for long-term spatial planning and the management of urban transport systems in accordance with the Regional, Town and Country Planning Act. It prepares statutory development plans, oversees traffic and transportation planning, and supports the design of integrated road networks. The section also regulates transport operations, advertising, and road usage, while formulating policies and engaging stakeholders to promote efficient, safe, and sustainable urban mobility.
