Development Control

The Development Control Section is responsible for regulating and managing land use and development in accordance with the Regional, Town and Country Planning Act. It oversees the processing of development permits, building plan approvals, and land subdivision applications, while ensuring compliance with planning regulations and bylaws. The section also monitors and enforces action against unauthorised developments, provides public guidance on lawful land use, and supports the formulation of policies for sustainable and orderly urban growth.
